Just a little something...

So, back in March, I went to Mexico on a mission trip with my youth group. It was an absolutely amazing experience…so much happened. I am forever changed…

Every morning, we would do some sort of devotion. We walked to the beach most mornings and sat down to journal and talk with God.

I was flipping through my notebook this morning and found this, which I wrote one morning while we were on the beach.

“Okay, so I’m sitting here on a beautiful beach in the middle of nowhere in Mexico, and all I can think is, Oh my goodness…God is so amazing! He created so much beauty in this world for us to enjoy, even though so much of it gets overlooked.

The waves make such a soothing sound. Every member of my youth group has found their own spot along this beach (mine is on top of a sandy hill), and we’re all talking with God…looking across this beach is absolutely beautiful. God is here with us. I can feel Him in the wind; see Him in every grain of sand. He is everywhere.”

Just thought I’d share that with you…

“

There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven.

A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.

A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to rebuild.

A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.

A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.

A time to search and a time to lose.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.

A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak up.

A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
